[Musique - Club culturel du Cercle culturel des Institutions européennes à Luxembourg - Foyer européen]


A section of the Cultural Cercle of the European Institutions

Founded in 1978 as a section of the Cercle culturel des Communautés européennes, the Music Club (formerly Club Musique de Chambre) is open to all musicians and interested music lovers

Its main activities are as follows:
- allow musicians to meet each other;
- present the result of their work in public.

The Club organizes public concerts (on an average of three pro year) by members as well as by professionals with whom it maintains friendly relations.
It prepares workshops, where during one or two days, members of the Club receive tuition during one or two days from professional musicians.
It organizes lectures on different musical subjects.
It holds buffet-concerts where members and non-members get together in an informal atmosphere around the piano.

The Club has a rehearsal room with a piano, a harpsichord, music stands, etc., for members to use, in the Foyer Européen, rue Heine, 12, 4th floor.
