The “History of Art” section, member of the Cultural Circle, organizes conferences, guided visits to exhibitions in Luxembourg and cultural journeys.
The annual subscription is 25 Euros for the members of European institutions, 31 Euros for others and 15 Euros for students.
It covers the cost of the conferences and visits in Luxembourg.
The Committee comprises five members.
Our lecturer, guide in the national museum, gives one conference a month, always on Tuesday at 20h in the JMO building.
The topics are mostly related to the journeys.
She comments also on about five exhibitions a year in Luxembourg.
The section organizes seven journeys in 2010: Frankfurt am Main (1 day), Brussels (1 day), Prague (5 days), Aachen (1 day), Vienna (3 days), Paris (2 days) and the new Pompidou centre in Metz (1 day).
